New Year Card

Finally found the time to post this year's New year card, aaand... to announce that I've found a new job: since a few months I've been working as a stop-motion animator at Beast Animation!! Hooray!
The project I'm working on is 'Dimitri', a very cute pre-school television series.

More updates following soon... In the meanwhile, I wish everyone a very happy New Year!

Dimitri

Long time since my last post, but it's been a busy summer: I got the chance to work as an intern at Beast Animation, a studio specialised in stop motion animation! I already learned a lot, and was very lucky to get involved in some great projects, like the TV-special of 'Dimitri in Ubuyu':

A day in the air

These are a few photoshop drawings I made some weeks ago for a friend (who is a stewardess). She used them in a presentation for children, to explain what a day in the life of a pilot and stewardess can look like.

Life as it was: Ikea

Today was my last day working at Ikea!
This drawing was my goodbye present, inspired by 'Where's Wally?', and representing a lot of Ikea stuff, customers and (ex-)colleagues!

Lady Mary

A very girly post, this one: a drawing of Lady Mary Crawley (played by Michelle Dockery) from the British television series 'Downton Abbey' :).

Life as it is: Ikea

Every weekend, for over three years now, I've worked as a shop-assistant at the Ikea store in my neighbourhood. Not the most fun job in the world, but the additional income made a lot of other very fun things possible (travels, studies, shopping :), ... ).
Nevertheless, the following months will be the last: I’ve decided to quit this year!

To celebrate my departure I made this self-portrait in Photoshop, with in the background soft toys from the children’s department.

I do think/hope I look a bit less grumpy in real life, though :).

Cintiq love

Last week, I got myself a brand new Cintiq 12WX interactive pen display by Wacom! I guess I'll be posting a lot more from now on. Can't... stop... drawing!
